We are grateful to many people and organizations for their support and guidance:
Sarah Halley, Consultant
Sarah Halley is a Senior Consultant for the Napier Group, a company that provides consulting and training in leadership, group dynamics, and effective management skills for individuals and organizations. She also works with Trainings for Change, leading workshops to confront racism. When we met her at the Natural Building Colloquium, she was enthusiastically discovering mud as a building material, and has since plastered with it in her Philadelphia row-house. Sarah has generously given us coaching on many aspects of the Apprenticeship, particularly the leadership component.
The Natural Cottage Project
The Natural Cottage Project gang – Chris McClellan, Deanne Bednar, Christina Ott, and Sarah Highland – lead start-to-finish construction workshops in natural building. Chris, Deanne, and Christina have given us advice and support in developing and promoting our program. Learn more about them at www.naturalcottageproject.com.
Christina Ott, Barefoot Builder
Christina teaches and builds with mud in all forms, especially cob, clay plasters, and earthen floors. She has been a collaborator and an inspiration to all of us, and gave Sarah her first experience of building with cob. Learn more about Christina at www.barefootbuilder.com.
